The world raises children. Families guide, but society is our destiny.

What's like to bring up little ones in the world today? What's timeless and what's new about it?

Are kids meaner than they used to be? Are they obedient? Are the computers making them smarter or dumber or does it matter?

As for me, I think the kids are alright; but that doesn't mean we have clear sailing ahead. We need to be doing more to support children and families. More peer support. More community engagement. More employment opportunities. More shared spaces. More playgrounds.

Because if we want better behavior we have to do the basics. We have to make the resources we know are needed and underfunded, be able to exceed the need and become the norm.
